Thursday - February 8, 2001
My friend Dawn and I had a good idea of where the Boys were going to be staying so we  had booked a room in advance.  We got up early (actually we didn't sleep at  all...LOL) to see if we could meet the buses as they got in to town.  When we got  there we saw a bus parked out front.  We weren't sure whos bus it was so we didn't  know who had shown up.  We parked the car in a parking lot across the street and got  out and tried to see if we could catch whomever it was in the bus but we never saw anyone.    We went back to the car and waited for the rest of the buses to show.  We  waited for a while and saw the five dancer buses pull in.  We then decided to try to  check in.  We doubted that we would be able to since it was 5am and the hotel was  booked but we were tired and I didn't want to drive back home.  While we were waiting  for the slow-ass clerks to wait on us, we heard one of them on the phone with someone  giving directions.   We knew he had to be talking to a bus driver for the Boys  because he said "there aren't many fans here, you can bring him in the  front."  Woohoo!!   LOL  Someone then asked me to move my car so I  went outside.  When I got out there I looked to my left and what was parked behind my  car but Nick Carter's bus!!!   I almost pissed my pants.  LOL  I pulled my  car up and went back inside.   I told Dawn that Nicky was there and his bus was  parked behind mine.  We waited for about ten minutes when Bob Carter, some blonde and  Nicky came walking through the lobby.  He was wearing blue shorts and a white hooded  sweatshirt.  He had the hood up over his head so I knew he must have just woken  up.   I just stared as he walked through to the elevators.  I watched his  JB sway back and forth!  YUMMY!  Dawn even asked me if I checked out the JB and  I was like "Hell yeah!!"  lmao!  There were five or six other fans  there but no one bothered him.  No one took pix or stopped him.  I thought that  was nice.  It wasn't the right time for snapshots....LOL 
We found out that we weren't going to be able to check-in so we left and I drove us  home to get some rest.  I ended up not sleeping at all cuz I was so pysched that we  were actually going to be staying in the same hotel as the Boys!  LOL
We met up with Cheryl and headed back to the hotel around 2pm and checked in.   We dropped our stuff off in our room and went down to the lobby to see if we could see  anything.   There were tons of fans waiting as well but there was no sign of any  Backstreet Boys or anyone associated with them.  If we hadn't seen Nicky walk in  earlier that morning we never would have known they were staying there.  We finally  saw Carlos and Nelson walking around scoping out the lobby.  We were hoping they  would bring the Boys through but as it got later and later things weren't looking so  optimistic.  We noticed two limosine vans pull up to the front of the hotel and Billy  went out to talk to the drivers.  He came back in and the limos pulled away.  We  ran outside and watched as they went around the side and backed into an opened garage  door.  We knew that they were sneaking out that way and not coming through the front  and we were pretty pissed off.   We went down to the parking garage to see if we  could see anything but found nothing.  No sign of the vans.  We heard that they  were getting off at the third floor and going down to the garage so we sat there and  waited but to no avail.   At this point we were getting really irrated.  We  finally just decided to give up, that they had already left.  We went up to our room  to eat and get ready for the show.  We wore our Johnny's Vein jerseys we had made  just for the tour and our leather pants.  We were looking HOT!   LOL
We met up with Lori, her niece and my Mom at the arena.  When I grabbed the  tickets out of my pocket and passed them out Dawn held up hers and said "What the  hell is this???"  I looked at the ticket and it was the receipt that  Ticketmaster sends with your tickets.  I looked in my pockets but I couldn't find the  other ticket.   I only brought three with me and there were four of us!   lmao!!  I panicked!  I went inside and explained what happened to the guy taking  the tickets and he said it was cool, we could all come in.  Thank GOD!  I wanted  to give the man I big sloppy wet kiss!  LOL
On our way to our  seats we ran into Kim from our Johnny’s Vein list. She was wearing a jersey so we  spotted her right away. She was sitting in the row ahead of us. Our seats were pretty  good. We were a couple sections down from one of the wings. Dawn said that the stage  looked bigger than in Atlanta. The Sky Dome is a LOT bigger than Mellon Arena, that’s  for sure! LOL
Crystal came out and kicked ass! I  really enjoyed her songs and I thought her voice was amazing.  :)
Right when the Boys came out some lady  in a few rows in front of us stood up and blocked my Mom’s view. Well, the last thing  you want to do is block my Mom’s view. lmao! She kept screaming at her to sit down but  she wouldn’t listen. At one point my Mom screamed out "Sit down bitch!" and I  was ROFL. You go girl! My Mom fucking rules! She still didn’t sit down....LOL The Boys  put on one helluva performance. During Larger Than Life AJ’s ring got caught in his  chain and I was LMAO! He kept tugging at it and tugging at it. He got it loose right  before the big dancing part at the end. Good thing cuz if he didn’t he would have just  stood there like a damn fool…LOL! Nicky did a lot of booty shaking which was fine by me.  I love when he shakes his ass! YUMMY! Dawn took pix during the show and she said she got a  whole roll of asses. That’s what I’m talkin about! lmao! I thought Howie sounded  amazing during HDIFILWY. Wow! Gave me goosebumps! My Mom was thoroughly enjoying  Howie...LOL  She kept screaming his name and drooling. She was as bad as us with AJ  and Nick. lol I loved the part where they went into the trunk and they played the tape of  them under the stage. That was classic BSB! As a whole the show was awesome! We all really  enjoyed ourselves. Dawn said it was WAY better than Atlanta. They actually looked like  they all wanted to be there and not just Nick.

During The Call

After the show we ran into our friends Deb and Diane, and their friend Peg. Deb asked us if we knew where the  Boys were staying and we said yes, that they were staying with us and we told her to come  over to the hotel and hang with us. They agreed to meet us over there. We met up with Lori and her niece and talked a bit about the show. Lori had to work the next day so she couldn’t come to the hotel with us. L We said goodbye and walked back to the hotel. It  was a beautiful night! The weather was unusually warm, in the 70s. It had been that way  all day and was going to be warm again on Friday. Perfect stalking weather.  LOL
When we got back we went to our rooms  to change out of our leather pants cuz they are hot as HELL! Never wear leather pants to a  concert! LOL  After we got hoochied up we went down the lobby and ran into Kim again.  We waited around for a while to see if the Boys were going to show up. We saw Marcus walk  through the lobby by himself so we knew that they Boys were already there, or at least AJ  was. As long as he was there were happy…LOL   Marcus went into the bar so we  figured he was scoping it out so he could bring AJ down. Deb and Co. showed up and we went  to the bar to wait to see if he did. We sat there for about an hour but AJ never showed.  Deb and Co. went back to their hotel and Dawn, Cheryl and I decided to go floor hopping to  see what we could find. We started at the top and went all the way down to the bottom.  There were a couple floors that made our Jaydar go off and we ended up being right.  :)   On one of the floors there was a door with the Boys pic on it and a note  that was addressed to each of them. It said that they had been looking for then but  didn’t find them and if they were reading this could they please autograph the pic. We  were going to sign it pretending to be them but that would have been mean so we walked  away. lmao! We heard the door open and then shut and lock. We were joking that they must  have thought that we were going to attack them or something. LOL  When we got to the  end of the hall, I looked back and the door was opening and they were watching us. I  laughed and waved. *rolls eyes* Teenies. We went back down to the lobby where we ran into  Kim again and went outside for a cigarette. One of the hotel staff approached us and asked  if we were there to see the Boys. Duh! lol He told us that they just got back and which  floor they were on and how they snuck in and out. Some very useful information. Thanks  dude! lol We went back inside and decided to venture up to that floor to see if we could  run into one of them. When we got up there and the door of the elevator opened we heard  yelling. We stepped off the elevator and saw Billy yelling at a small group of girls. They  must have been doing the same thing we were doing. Billy sees us and was like "What  are you doing up here?? What are you doing on this floor?" and we just stood there  like "ahhhhhhh"  LOL   Kim acts dumb and asks "What floor IS this?" and he gets all pissed off and says "You know damn well what floor this is! Get the hell out of here!". He practically pushed on onto the elevator. That man is PISSY! Billy was not feeling us at all. I just wonder what he would have done if those  girls hadn’t been giving him problems. Would he have yelled at us? Probably!    LOL  Nick missed out.  We could have rocked his world.  LOL  I wonder if he  knows that Billy was wrecking his game? lmao! So we go back down to our room all pissed cuz Billy was a dick to us. We didn’t think it was fair that the Boys were hiding from  us like they were. All we wanted to do was get a pic and an autograph. I don’t think  that’s too much to ask considering WE’RE the reason they are where they are. We’ve  decided to write a book called How To Have Fun With A BSB Bodyguard...LOL   For  example, keep one foot in the elevator and one foot outside and say "Look, I’m not  really on his floor!!" lmao! Look for it this fall in a book store near you! ;)
We wanted to go back up there and tell  off Billy but we figured we should leave it alone for one night so we all went to bed.

Friday - February 9, 2001
We were supposed to meet Deb and Company for breakfast at 10am but we didn’t get up  until noon. lol I called Deb and she said that they were sitting in the lobby waiting for the Boys. They saw Brian go through at around 10:30am on his way to play golf. Figures!  LOL  Oh well, it was only Brian, not that I didn’t want to meet Brian but I had my sights set on two other Boys. *evil grin* We went up to case the floors again but didn’t see anyone at all, except Bob Carter getting off the elevator. Big whoop! LOL  We gave up and went down to the  lobby and ran into Kim again. She said that she heard that AJ was still sleeping and it  was almost 2pm. We weren’t surprised. We didn’t figure that they were going to come  through the lobby today either so we kept an eye on the side entrance. As we were waiting  we saw the bodyguards milling around. Carlos gave Dawn and I the once over when he was walking out the door. He was feeling us in a big way! lmao! When he came back in he was  carrying some Colgate toothpaste so now we know what flavor Kevy uses to get his teeth all  white and sparkly!  LOL   Bob Carter was walking around too. The teenies  were all over him. Made me sick. He’s just Nick’s DAD...geez! And HOW did Nick turn  out looking like he does with a Dad like that? I guess it’s true, ugly parents have beautiful children.  LOL  The Eurohoochies were also around. Kim and her friends  named them Skipper and Barbie...LOL  Skipper was kind of butch and had AJ’s tattoos  on her. Scary! No wonder he didn’t want to come out of his room! LOL
The dancers buses pulled up to the  front around 3pm and then Nick and AJ’s buses pulled up across the street. Dawn, Cheryl,  Kim and I went over to AJ’s bus and waited. We saw Marcus come across the street with a  bellhop wheeling AJ’s bags. We watched as they loaded them into the bus. We got a nice  glimpse of his luggage. LOL We saw  his backpack he always wears with a little bone embroidered on it. We were all like  "Awwwwwwwww" lmao! We had a jersey to give to AJ so we asked Marcus if he could  make sure AJ got it. He said sure, he’d get it in a minute. He called someone on the phone and we eavesdropped. We heard him say "AJ?" We were like "OMG! He’s  calling AJ!" I was like "Let me talk to him!" LOL  He was talking about how they were getting  to the venue. He said he’d call if they were taking the bus or not. After he got off the  phone we handed him the jersey and he asked if he could just throw it on the bus and we  were like "have at it dude" LOL  We watched him put it on there and we were  like "Holy shit! He’s got our jersey!" WOOHOO!!! What we envisioned him doing  with that jersey we won’t share...lmao! So we go back to the hotel and are freaking cuz  our jersey is actually ON AJ’s bus. J So we see Nick’s bus pulled around the side of  the hotel and we go over to see what’s going on. There are fans gathered around hoping  that Nick will come out. Lo and behold, Mr. Carter comes walking out onto the bus. Holy shit was he looking FINE! Billy, our favorite bodyguard, tells us that Nick will sign but  do not take any pictures. HA!!   LOL  So I’m standing there in the back and I can’t see Nicky so I got up to the front and get a glimpse of the blonde God. Holy hell!  I almost peed my pants!  LOL  I snapped about four pix before Billy yelled at me  to stop. Oopsie! lmao! Kim was there to snapping away! How could he expect us not  to???  LOL  So I left and found Dawn in line waiting for an autograph. I  knew I wasn’t going to get one by going to the end of the line so I handed her my  photocard and asked her to have him sign it since she already got one in Atlanta. Kim and  I ran up to the front of the hotel to get her friends. When we got to the lobby we told  them that Nick was out back and they freaked and ran. I was like "Don’t  run!!!" I didn’t want to tip any of the fans off that were waiting there. Too late.  They all took off running and Kim and I stopped and started laughing at the stampede we  created. We looked at each other and said "We cleared the lobby!"   LOL  Some of them stopped because they heard us and thought we were kidding. We  laughed harder and told them we were serious and to hurry before they missed him. Kim and I went back to the bus and it was just pulling away so we walked back to the front again.  As we were walking back we saw one of the dancers buses pull up to where Nick’s was. We  didn’t think anything of it so we kept walking. When we got up there we ran into Deb and  Co. I told them we just met Nick and she was like "No shit!" We said we did and  that he looked SO good! Very fuckable. Dawn and Cheryl came back and Dawn gave me my autograph. I thanked her and gave her a hug. I looked at it for the longest time. I  couldn’t believe I finally got to meet Nicky. He smudged part of it with his finger so I have a Nicky print. Hehehe   Cheryl didn’t get one because Billy stopped right as she was next in line. Bummer!  : (  Dawn said that went she got up there he looked  down at her and said "How you doin?" and his eyes were just sparkling. She almost died! She said "Fine, you?" which we’re gonna tease her about until  we’re old and gray! lmao!

I’ll never forget walking to the front of the bus and seeing Nicky sitting there.  I was like “OMFG!”  He was looking mighty fine!  Billy was NOT feeling me at all.  He didn't like that I was taking pix of Nick...lol   Oh well dude.....I got four....neener neener fucking neener!!!  lmao!!

So we go over to the other bus wondering what the hell it’s doing out there. The Boys don’t usually take any other bus but their own so we were curious to know who was going to get on it. Dawn and I said that if it was anyone other than AJ we were leaving. We knew he was still there because I had seen Marcus go through the lobby when Kim and I cleared it out. All of a sudden we hear a voice go "Okay, this is what’s going to happen…" and we turn to see Carlos coming through the crowd. That man is fine!  LOL We were feeling him! We knew at that point that Kev was coming out. Carlos promised us that Kevin would sign autographs as long as we all behaved. Dawn and I said to each other that AJ will probably go out the front now because everyone is out here waiting on Kevin. I asked her if we should stay and she said that we should get an autograph for Lori so we did. As we were standing there waiting we heard some lady say that AJ just left out the front. Dawn and I stared at each other. We weren’t sure if she was lying or not so we just stayed in line and waited to get up to Kevin. I watched as Deb and Peg met Kevin and got his autograph. I was really happy for them since he’s there fave. Kevin posed for Dawn’s camera and she shook his hand. I just about died. I got up to him and handed him my photocard. He smiled at me and signed it. He handed it back and we said thank you at the same time. I’m thinking "why are you thanking ME?? Thank YOU!" lmao! I shook his hand and snapped a pic. I was in heaven! He’s amazing looking in person! Wow! I went over to Deb who was talking on her cell phone. I looked around for Dawn and Cheryl and saw Peg crying. I grabbed her into a hug and just held her as she cried. She was so happy she met Kevin and I was so happy for her. I can only imagine what I would have been like if I’d met AJ. I felt like crying when I met Nick! LOL

When I went back out front I saw Dawn, Cheryl, Kim, and her friends smoking. Dawn told me AJ did come out the front. Only two people stopped him. It was our perfect opportunity and we blew it! We KNEW he would be coming out and we did nothing. We stayed with Kevin for Lori. If only she had been there, we would have left or if it had been Howie or Brian. Why did it have to be KEVIN?!!? We were so pissed, mostly at ourselves. We KNEW! Damn it! All I wanna do is meet AJ. People tell us not to want it so much but how can you NOT? I wanted to meet Nick bad and I got to do that!! Sonofabitch! We get so close but always come up short. And what was worse is that that was our last chance because they were leaving right after the show. Nick and Brian were heading to DC for the Allstar Basketball Game and AJ was going right to Chicago. We didn’t know about Howie and Kevin.
I called Lori and told her the news. She was speechless. She was thrilled to get Kevin’s autograph and that we met Nick but sad for us that we didn’t meet AJ. She also felt a little guilty.  LOL
We went inside to sulk in our room for awhile. We didn’t have tickets for the show that night but we were going to head to the arena to see if we could see them leaving. After a little bit of moping we decided to walk down to Eckerd to get our pix developed. I wanted Nicky to cheer me up and he did. The pix turned out awesome! I was pleased. I wish I could have gotten more but I didn’t want to press my luck with Billy. LOL  We also stopped at the liquor store on the way back. We wanted to drown our sorrows in alcohol. LOL
We ordered a pizza when we got back and Cheryl and Dawn went to the arena. I was tired so I stayed behind, telling them to call if anything good happened. They saw the Boys go through the parking lot. Dawn got a glimpse of AJ so she knew he wasn’t a hologram. Although we’re still not convinced! They all took off in different directions. Dawn and Cheryl saw AJ’s bus stopped at a red light and when she peeked inside she got a glimpse of his ass! lmao!
They came back to the hotel and we got drunk.....LOL  We needed something to take away the pain of getting dissed by AJ.  We went down to Kim's room but there was a Privacy Please sign on the door.  We got down on the floor outside her door to write her a drunken note...LOL....I noticed a light was on when I peeked under the door.  It opened and her friends laughed at us laying there.  They told us Kim was outside smoking so we went down to find her.  She told us they were all gone but Kevin.  We didn't give a shit about Kev....LOL...so we went back up to our room and drank some more.   :)

We found out later that Kevin came  back to the hotel JUST after we came upstairs.   Shut out again.  Damn  it!!  LOL   He left the hotel at 11:30am Saturday morning.  So all the  Boys were gone.  :(  
All in all it was a good time.  I'm still upset we missed AJ AGAIN but what can you  do?  I've decided to give up the search.  I'm tired of the disappointments.    If I'm meant to meet him I will, but I'm beginning to think I'm meant to meet them  all BUT him.  *sigh*  It's just not fair!!
